- Who is the founder of Nukanga? The founder of Nukanga is Jay DuBois. Jay is the author of The 16 Laws of Prosperity: How To Create The Next Economic Miracle In Your City. He also invented a new personality typing framework that unifies all typology systems and gamifies life. Jay combined this psychological tool with his experience from years in international school, his journey building the first online community for EDM fans in his city and his college education in economics and comparative religion; and designed Nukanga after discovering the Charter Cities Institute and Network State concept.
- What if I’m not an entrepreneur? All five positions (buyers, promoters, investors, teachers, talent) are welcome.
- How do I invest in startups? You can discover new companies in our social network business directory and mock crowdfunds.
- What’s the price? Free “Tourist” tier, $399/year “Netizen” tier. 50% off $199/year for the first 100 members.
- How many spaces are available for each guild? A few spaces for each product category.
- Is this a marketplace? Not now. A marketplace will be implemented in Phase 2.
- Is there a crowdfunding platform? No, crowdfunding is external (Republic.com, Kickstarter.com), but we have mock crowdfunds.
- What if I’m not from a particular race, gender, global south…)? All are welcome, with a focus on culture, needs and products associated with high-growth tropical regions.
- What is tropical or pan-tropical? It refers to Latin America, Africa, India, and Southeast Asia, sharing climate and cultural ties. In Nukanga, we are replicating the demographics of the tropics; including people who are ethnically from all over the world but work and play in the tropics and people who are ethnically from the tropics but live and work in nations all over the world. We are made up of many different races, however we all share investment in the same tropical culture and market, no matter where we are from or where we are currently located in the global economy.
- How many members are inside? Membership is actively growing.
- Is there a DAO? A DAO is planned for a future membership tier.

- What does ‘alignment’ mean in terms of member acceptance? Alignment means fitting into Team Nukanga’s mission, motto, culture and market focus.
- How does Team Nukanga ensure active participation? Active participation is encouraged through your profile completion and our weekly networking events for premium members.
- How will the crowdfunded university campus be structured and where will it be located? The campus will be a smart city in paradise, funded through crowdfunding and a DAO. It will be a college for adults, drawing inspiration from new urbanism, Nile Valley architecture and theme park design.
